Penguins Of Madagascar: Mission: Impossible
"Men! Move out! Go go go!!" Skipper commanded all of a sudden. The stillness in the air had created the perfect tranquil sleeping atmosphere. The penguins had been lulling peacefully in and out of blissful dreams, but all this happy snoozing was interrupted with a morning wake- up call from the commander in chief, now pacing the floor with not one but two sliced fish accompanying his coffee.
The three shot straight up, slamming there heads into the roof of there cots, and rubbing sleep as well as pain from there craniums and they each fell out numbly, still un- aware of there leader's urgency.
"MEN! Look alive, this is no time for your sleeping nonsense! Now I wanna see some hustle in that muscle!" Skipper commanded at once, and as if on direct cue, the men began performing jumping-jaxes and other various exercise moves to awaken themselves.
"Skippah, might I ask what is going- SHHH!! No time for flibber flabber, GO! Shooting room!!" Skipper interrupted young Private with ease.
"May I ask where we're going then...?" Kowalski yawned as he started up the rocket replica machine, twisting a few nobs and pressing a few buttons to start it up.
Skipper squinted his eyes. "Antarctica.." He whispered.
"Got it..." Kowalski replied unamused as he yawned again, this time catching his yawn in his fin, and he pressed in there destination across the computer grid.
Privates eyes lit up, "Hunter!" He replied happily.
Skipper looked at him puzzled. "What? Did she tell you? She didn't tell me what was wrong she just said she needed us immediately.." He paused, waiting to see if young Private knew.
Private simply shook his head. "Sorry sir, I'm not even sure myself" He answered starting to feel worried.
"K then... move out" Skipper ordered with his serious demeanor once again.
The 4 men readied themselves and as if on cue, the launch pad sprung to life, just as Skipper noticed the guest log on the computer lining the wall. It read "1 GUEST 5:30 a.m. TODAY."
Someone had already used the launch pad this morning but had failed to notfiy anyone! Making sure all men were accounted for once again, he had not another second to think on such things. Not a moment too soon, they found themselves making a splash landing in Antarctica's waters.
They sprouted forth from the water, all in battle ready poses, prepared for any hungry seals coming there way.
"NOM!" A seal suddenly bit down on Private, flinging the young cadet back and forth wildly and threw him into the air.
"Private!" Skipper yelled in horror, watching the young soldier helplessly, and his fins fell limply to his sides, unable to say anything audible.
"Come ON!" Rico rasped out, and at this Skipper was knocked from his daze.
"Move out! " He yelled and within seconds all 3 had managed, with a combined force, to knock the seal head over foot flying backwards and sliding back into the snow and ice towards a glacier wall.
"Private! Gotcha!" Kowalski and Skipper yelled, catching him and setting him back to the ground.
Private was giggling until he noticed who had caught him. "Where's Hunter?!" Private slowly became wide-eyed.
"Uh..." Rico hesitated, the first looking to where the attacked seal had landed.
".... Hunter....?" Kowalski and Skipper replied at the same time, accidentally dropping Private with a gasp.
"Hunter!" Private yelped realizing what they had all been looking at, he raced quickly to her side, trying to take notice of any vital signs of injury but as far as he could tell, nothing severe had happened. No severe damages? Thank goodness.
"What was THAT for!" Hunter squealed out, more or less hurt than shocked.
"I'm so sorry Hunter, I promise that they didn't mean it- Well actually, I Kind of did... or not or not" Skipper started but when seeing Privates' glare, decided to quiet down.
"You ok?!" Private asked.
"Yeah I think so, just my nose feels a little funny but that's all..." Hunter replied wincing a little, but managed a smile.
"Phew! Scared me there for a moment I thought that- SO! What on Earth was the ground breaking emergency?!" Skipper squinted at her, not wanting Private to beat around the bush with his concern for her well- being.
Hunter found herself caught off guard, and found herself blushing with embarrassment.
"Uh... well.. you see, oh!! Well the uh, seals, my family... they wanted to uh.. join the zoo." She remarked bluntly. " Or rather move in so to speak. I tried to convince them that they didn't want to do that, but... you know them stubborn animals, they just won't listen to me.." She sighed, flinching as her nose shot some pain through her.
"What?! But- that's impossible! They'd have to somehow get clearance through the zoo to even do that and the paperwork to accomplish that, I mean what? Do they believe this kind of change is like a walk in the park or that they could just-...." Kowalski got real quiet when he noticed the odd stairs.
"Are you done with your soap opera?" Skipper finally asked.
"Yush..." Kowalski grumbled.
"Well, as long as I can help it... this isn't going to happen! Now where are they..?" Skipper asked.
"Uh... over the hill I'm almost positive. But-But! They made it clear, with out this one" She motioned to Private sitting beside her. "Just to avoid any more conflict after all..." She gibbered out in one breath. Skipper had been walking away but at this point, stopped and turned to look dead into Hunter's eyes.
"Oh is THAT what they really said little miss Hunter? Hmm?! The one who saved your dad is now in trouble with the top dogs...?" He almost gritted his beak, just remembering the mysterious guest log in, and starting to get really annoyed with all this shady business being conducted in his presence.
She got real nervous at this point. She had never seen a look quite like that one given to her, even from her dad who was at least 5 times this penguins size, she really felt 2 inches tall compared to this one at the moment. "It's a long story..." Was all she could manage. She had also meant to say "You two should settle the differences over a nice cup of... ice water" But that just didn't make it out under her intensified servailence at the moment. "Don't worry, I'll stay here with Private and even if we go anywhere, he won't be swimming alone.." She saluted. That statement she meant with her life.
".... Right then," He replied, only somewhat convinced. "Let's move out then...." He spoke.
Private remained still until they'd left out of side.
"YES!" She sighed with relief.
"What?!" Private asked. He felt horrible that her dad apparently didn't want to see him, it kind of hurt to know that.
"They bought it!" She giggled, still relaxing after that death glare had been given to her.
"Bought what?!... D-Did you lie to them about something?" Private squeaked out already feeling guilty.
Hunter smiled sheepishly, just motioning with her fin A little
"B-B-B-But- Please" She interrupted him. "Please Private! I lied because I knew that was the only way to get you out here... I had to make up a mission"
Private was speechless. "So you LIED!?"
"I promised myself I would lie very little.. keep the story basic so if there were any loop holes it wouldn't be hard to cover them up... but with a leader like that, I imagine nothing gets under his radar..." She sighed.
"But... why?" Private asked not even hearing the last part.
Hunter slapped her forehead. "To hang out with you! Duh! I missed having my little penguin friend around!" Hunter smiled warmly, running her fin over his head and messing up his head feathers.
He still looked sad, "What about when they get back...?"
"Look, if it makes ya feel better, I'll tell them the truth when they get back.. Please Private?! It's been so boring around here lately... I just wanted to hang out... " She pouted. "I realized after this conversation with them.. that we won't have long either.. I know Mr. Skipper is going to catch on deathly fast.." She remarked feeling a shiver run down her spine.
Private crossed his fins in deep thought.
"Rawr!" She playfully growled at him and out of instinct, he jumped back in fright. It took him a moment to realize what had happened, and he started to chuckle.
She found herself giggling.
Private smiled at this. She had made up a fake mission, fake story to tell them, and even faked it that Private wasn't wanted by there dad.... just to hang out with him, Private of all penguins. He simply chuckled, "You are such a good friend" He whispered.
"Now then..." She replied once she was sure he was ready to go somewhere.. "There is this great new place I found, called.. oh what was it... oh! Medina Cove! Though... it's more of an underwater cave.. I just like that name.." She smiled, giggling at her own silliness.
Private nodded in agreement, ready to follow.
Just as they were about to hop into the water, they turned back just in time to see there three comrades standing at the top of the hill, Skipper looking the most unsatisfied.
"Uh oh..." They replied in unison, but a small smile formed at the corners of there mouth, only for a brief second as they prepared themselves to get chewed out about there lie.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: The Cider
"Oh please little guy... whatever is the problem..?" Fluttershy's little voice of concern piped up.
The rabbit turned it's head away, almost in defiance.
"Oh dear..." Fluttsershy gasped. "But please! If you simply tell me, I can figure out how to solve the problem..." she persisted.
The rabbit glared at her once again.
"..." Fluttershy simply sighed.
"I got it!" She squeaked, racing outside. Before she managed two steps outside, she ran into Big Mac.
The next thing they knew, Big Mac had been soaked in tanned sticky juice and sitting flat on his bum. While Fluttershy had fallen backwards to the ground, a pale smack dab on her face.
"I'm so sorry!" She replied out in shocked horror, though her voice was muffled from the bucket. Big Mac stared for a moment, unable to process what just happened, but it finally dawned on him, Fluttershy needed help.
He scrambled to his feet, and helped to pull the bucket off her. "Hold on.." He grumbled and finally pop the bucket came right off her.
"Oh my gosh!" She gasped and quickly withdrew the bucket from him, holding the empty container between her hooves protectively. "Are you ok...?" She asked weakly.
He paused a moment, looking at his hooves, not even noticing the juice had soaked him, and brushing himself clean of dust before answering with, "eeyup!"
"Are you sure..?!" She winced.
"Eeeeee-yup!" Once again, but just as calmly as the first.
"Oh I'm so glad! I was really worried that the bucket of apples may have hurt you or that- wait... Those weren't apples.." She realized, noticing that the inside of the bucket was lined with a sweet liquid from what was there.
"Eeeenope! Cider.." He replied simply.
"It wasn't apples! Oh my gosh, it was something really special, especially for you to take the time extra out to deliver this.. and I knocked it out of your hooves and now your covered in cider.. man I'm such a cluts.." Then she stopped a moment, "Cider?" She realized.
"eeeyup! Extra supply" He smiled when she had finally realized.
"Applejack had extra so she decided to give it to her friends?!" She started to fly again.
"hehe.. eeyup!" He looked up at her.
She stopped a moment when she heard him laugh. She had never heard him laugh... better yet say more than a word or two.
"Did you just..." She started.
"eeeeyup?" He asked.
"Oh uh... nothing nothing.." She smiled sweetly. "Well thanks for the thought anyways, it's the only thing left.." She sighed, looking away sheepishly.
"... It's the thought that counts... eeeeyup?" He smiled at her.
She giggled. "I sure hope so!"
At this, Big Mac chuckled a little.
She beamed. She, Little Miss Fluttershy, had actually made Big Mac laugh?! The pony who never even said more than a word or two?! Oh she would definitely have to tell her little bunny pet about- "Angel!" She gasped in realization.
He stared at her a little wide- eyed.
"I'm sorry.. Angel is my pet bunny... who just won't eat! I came outside to get some other feed... try some other things you know? Nothing seems to be working though..." She whispered, feeling bad that she had to rush along.
"May I?" He held out his hoof for the barrel.
"Um... ok" She sighed already knowing that her new found friend was about to head back to Sweet Apple Acres. But he didn't! She stared at him as he actually preceded to the door.
"May I...?" He asked after a moment of silence had transpired.
"Oh! Um ok.." She replied slowly as she opened up the door, allowing him to go inside. She watched from the door way, speechless at what had happened next, Big Mac offered the barrel to the rabbit, but he persistently turned his head. She sighed inwardly when she saw her small friend turn it's head yet again.
Suddenly Big Mac touched his hoof along the inside lip of the barrel, and dabbed the bunnies nose with some of the cider on his hoof.
The bunny sent a glare to him, both shocked and annoyed. How could come pony had done such a thing?!
Big Mac smiled when the bunny immediately went to cleaning its face, and his eyes brightened up. The taste of the cider was simply delicious.
Fluttershy flew slowly inside and sat down beside Big Mac, looking very surprised at her little pets response. She giggled. "I guess he just needed some of that cider in his diet.." She sighed with relief. Then her eyes opened up again. "But cider doesn't come around again... till next year" She added sadly.
He smiled warmly at her. "I think we could make a little extra.."
"Oh could you?!"
"Every once in a while... it'll take a little extra work.. but I don't mind for a friend..." He winked kindly, and headed for the door.
"Thank you! Oh really just thank you! In fact I can send you some money to pay for the extra time and work..." She answered.
"Not a dime! Or I'll send you back twice the amount." He smiled warmly.
She smiled back, leading him to the door. "Thank you..." She spoke up.
"Not a problem Ms. Fluttershy..." He responded. "Good night Ms. Fluttershy..." he bowed his head a moment and then with the barrel in possession, started his journey back to Sweet Apple Acres.
Her smiled lingered as she finally turned back around to face Angel. "Anyways, come on Angel let's see what we can find for you.." She smiled at her little friend.
My Life as a Teenage Robot: I'm Fine
"Please Please Please!!!! Just once!! Give me just ONE chance and I'll show you!! Please??" Brad pleaded from the side lines, as usual. He had just been given a brand spankin' new bike but struggled to keep up with Jenny even at his new accelerated pace.
"Brad.. I already said.. no " Jenny responded, by this time she had already sped past him, her jets could leave a smoke trail with ease but she kind of didn't want to. She did like having the extra company though on days like today, the nagging was really taking a toll on her nerves for the worst.
"Oh come on Jen … please?!" Brad asked again.
"...No" Jenny persisted.
He breathed heavily, he was using his last advantage with this one, "Fiiine.. I guess I'll just have to tell the Krust Cousins that you like to be called Jen Jen He smirked at her immediate response.
She stopped on her heels, but he kept going, the bikes brakes weren't as smooth with halting as her brakes were.
She threw her arm at him, grabbing his collar, and picking him straight off the bike seat, the bike falling over and landing softly in a flower garden to the side. She dragged him back to her, getting right in his face. "I need to hear from you that you don't plan to follow through with that plan.. correct?!" She glared at him.
He was getting a soft chuckle out of this. "Or... OR.. maybe that you want to take the Crust cousins and there boyfriends.. and all 6 of you have a triple date..." He almost laughed, but stopped when he saw her face was shocked looking. "What?! Sheesh can't take a joke?!"
"you?!" She asked. Was he implying that Brad and she would go as a couple with the Krust Cousins and there boyfriends?! She wasn't sure how to take this, she knew it was a joke but never had he been so blunt to imply something like this.
"What?! No I uh.. I meant Sheldon.. you didn't let me finish.." He felt his cheeks burning as she did herself.
A strange silence transpired, never had she felt so embarrassed standing in the presence of her best friends than she did now. She just looked at him, waiting for what he was going to proceed with.
He swallowed hard, his usual jokes to cover over a bad or embarrassing situation weren't coming to him like they normally did, "Besides... I don't go for "cold heart-ed robots" He forced a snicker. A typical one he used on her to get her to start laughing again, it was what Sheldon had said to her long ago when he had first met her and kept hitting on her, and ever since then it had been a running gag between them. But this time, it didn't even produce a giggle.
Jenny remained silent, drew back it seemed, but forced a smile. I mean, they were just really good friends... right?
"I uh- I gotta get going- watch out!" Brad interrupted, jumping forward and tackling her to the ground, inches away from being crushed.
"WHAT THE CRIPES MAN!?" She shouted, completely flustered at him for doing this. But he didn't need to say a word, a giant metal claw came smashing down a few feet from them, creating a loud thud at impact.
They stared at it as it picked itself back up, it seemed to be level with the sun, it's height looming over them like a storm cloud. It took only a moment to realize the metal arm's intentions as it started it's decent to them. As fast as lightning though, Jenny sprouted wings from her side, grabbed Brad underneath the arms, and quickly shot into the air. The metal arm barely missed them, as it came inches from turning them to plant food once again. The force of the impact from the claw left an almost crater sized dent into the ground when it rose again for a another strike.
"What is that?! Or rather.. who is that?!" Brad asked
"....." Jenny was quiet, as her inside scanners went to work scanning the metal monster for any signs of human life to trace back to it's origin. It was simple in appearance, an oval disk, on it's side, and three mechanical arms sprouted from the sides, sharp needle like fingers hanging on the end of each arm, perfect for grabbing and crushing large cars or even small change easily. Her scanner came up with nothing, and the images she tried to produce of the inside came up as blurred figures, who ever it was, knew what they were doing.
"I don't know.. and I don't like it.." She replied, suddenly realizing how heavy Brad was just to hold in the air.
The questions and answers they both gave were obvious, granted, but the realty that neither knew what it was, like normal, scared them. "Come on... let's go ask mom.." She asked and with out even waiting for a reply from Brad, the fire ignited in her pigtails, and they made there quick trip to the Wakeman house.
Upon arriving, they were showered in oil cans, the floor covered in them, like a blanket of metal snow. "JEN! Really?! What are all these cans for?!" Brad asked when he was set down, almost getting oil on his new khaki's.
"Don't blame me! Mom wanted them for her experiment..." Jenny defended herself much too quickly. She only received a suspicious look in response. "Just sayin... just sayin..." She smiled sheepishly. She ran upstairs to look for her mom, leaving Brad downstairs with the oil cans and there lingering silent stare.
"Mom?!" Jenny suddenly called from upstairs. At this point, she had brought out her heavy artillery prepared for any trap.
"Yeees...?! I'm in the lab..." A somewhat annoyed voice suddenly rang out. "As I have been for a couple of days.." She added, the lack of sleep pulling a load on the strength of her voice.
Brad perked his head up when he heard this, looking up the stairs and then shrugged as he proceeded into the lab.
"Hey Mrs. Wakeman, how you feelin'? You sound a little tired.. whoa!" He asked but went silent when he saw the project she was working on.
She was typing like wild fire on a keyboard across the room, and the computer screen producing the results was almost as big as the wall it was leaning against. Lines and lines of text rang out across the computer screen, covering the entire surface in a wave of HTML. Symbols used that he had seen on a keyboard but never thought they had any real purpose displayed before him.
"Oh Mr. Carbunkle, what a surprise.." She replied unamused but she somewhat smirked in pride at his response to her work... "Beautiful isn't it?! I've been working on this source code for days now! Not any "major" break- throughs.. but still..." She sighed heavily, leaning back in her office chair in admiration. "Oh uh... where's Jenny?" She asked, arching an eye brow.
"Oh right! Jenny went up stairs to look for you, we came over to ask about this weird metal monster down town near Mezmer's... we weren't sure if you'd maybe seen it and knew the best way to beat it or whatever.." He replied heading to the door to tell Jenny that Nora was in her laboratory.
"I told her I was going to be in my lab for a few days..." She replied almost insulted.
"Hey! I'm just telling you what she told me, oh and Mrs. Wakeman, just how many empty cans of oil do you really need?!" He joked as he opened the door, and a few empty cans fell in the door way.
"Oh my gosh! I told her I needed 2! Just 2! Not... 82!" She replied, rubbing her temples, "Sometimes I really wonder about her.." She laughed at this.
"See now, I figured that!" He replied chuckling.
"Jenny! She's down in the lab- MOM!" She flew down in an instant, flying through the door way and gripped her mom in a bear hug.
Nora coughed for a moment when the breath had been taken out of her. "Xj-nien, I told you I was going to be in my lab..." She rolled her eyes, though she smiled a little.
"I know, but just for a brief second in the back of my mind I thought maybe something bad had happened!" She sniffled out. Just as she was about to put her mom down, she accidentally tripped over some cords. She caught her balance with ease but the cords she tripped over, ripped from the wall.
"Oh... no.." Brad realized the damage. The computer was cleaned of all its codes when the power was withdrawn from the wall.
"Jen!" He waved his hands in the air to get her attention.
"What?!" She mouthed back.
He simply pointed at the computer. She turned and looked, setting Nora back down and looked at the computer. "Oh Cripes..- op, sorry" She hadn't meant to cuss in front of her mom.
"What are you going on about now...?!" Nora replied, not even hearing what she had said.
"I'm so sorry I'm so sorry... "Jenny waited for her mother to realize what she had done.
Then Nora noticed the computer screen. "Oh my gosh... all that data.." She just stared at it. "X-J-Nein! Gosh, do you know how long it took me to get that?! Your lucky I saved the majority of it on this usb.." She rolled her eyes as she popped the storage device from the computer brain. She sighed heavily, "Now if you please, go call up Sheldon real quick and have him come over here to help me get this information back..." She requested not even looking at them as she began attending to some filing.
Brad looked at Jenny accusingly, "Glad that Sheldon could help ya... Jen.." He spoke coldly.
"Oh it was nothing major, just some coding and gave Jenny a help with some no name criminal. Honestly Brad you could have done it..." Nora breezed. "He was close by so I just told Jenny to ask him... sometimes I wonder if that kid even has a life..." Nora breezed as she fished through a manilla folder.
".... Good day Mrs. Wakeman, have a good one.." Brad forced a smile and turned reluctantly toward the exit.
Jenny raced to him, "Brad wait.." She raced to him and placed her hand on his shoulder but he jerked away. She stopped at first at this but eventually trailed after him outside, determined to get her side of the story across. "Brad! Please- No! You know what?! Just... no! And also.. I'm glad that we're friends... Just friends that is.. because I wouldn't want to get in the way of you and Sheldon! Obviously he's... smarter.. funnier.. everything I'm... not" Brad spoke with much vile in his voice. He turned to look her dead in the eye. "Or am I mistaken... XJ9?!" He asked.
"...Please, don't call me that" Jenny honestly felt very confused at the moment.
"I'm sorry" He apologized, almost not meaning it. "So what then..?!" At this moment, he waited now.
"... I uh" She hesitated, her foot steps backing her up a little, wishing to just sink in to the ground to get away from the situation, this kind of confrontation with her best friend was killing her on the inside and she couldn't take it. She wasn't thinking straight with this kind of pressure, she knew what he wanted to hear, but it wasn't right that he called Sheldon down like that.. he was still her friend.. as was Brad and that was it.. right? "You aren't happy just being friends" She twisted her face into a forced smile. "We're best friends remember? I'm happy with that.." She wanted to punch herself.. she was beating a dead horse and knew it with every word but kept talking.
A cold harsh realty came over him but he remained silent, with no real emotion evident on his face. He ruffled up the tails of his collar around his neck as he began walking away. "You're right Jenny! And I'm happy to hear that.. Don't forget the monster, wouldn't want that to slip you OR Sheldon's mind.." He spoke walking away.
They both wanted to turn around, say something right for a change.. but neither did.
WOOT! XD This last one I will say is.. the worst! Whatever.. almost 5,000 words later.. I had fun with the whole thing 8D
